Privacy policy/Data Protection Statement (as of 23.5.2018)

In the following we would like to inform you about our procedure regarding data protection. We observe the data protection law applicable in Germany. You can call up this declaration at any time on our website.

1. elevation and use

1.1 Use of the Website and Subpages

Initially you will find here information about the collection and use of personal data when using our websites according to the chapter heading. You can recognize the sub-pages by the fact that the page name called up, which is visible at the top of the browser line, always contains one of the domain names specified above.

(A) No personal data is collected when using this website, such as via contact forms.

(B) On the other hand, data is automatically collected by our IT systems or by the hoster of the website ( when you visit the website. The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version,
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • hostname of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is collected automatically as soon as you visit our website. Some of the automatically collected data is collected in order to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data can be used to analyze your user behavior using tools provided by 1and1. These data are not combined with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which expressly permits the processing of data to fulfil pre-contractual measures or a contract.

(C) This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of page views made by you. An encrypted connection can be recognized by the fact that the address line of the browser instead of http:// now displays https:// and a lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the above data transmitted to us cannot be read by third parties.

1.2 Use of Websites and Subpages

You can get to this page while surfing from the websites mentioned in chapter 1.1 Note that the address line of your browser will then contain the following domain (… …). 1.3 Use of your personal data for contact and business relations:

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, handing over a business card or by any other means and provide us with personal data, this is done voluntarily by you. We expressly point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) has security gaps and cannot be completely protected from access by third parties.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which expressly permits the processing of data to fulfil pre-contractual measures or a contract.

If a contractual relationship between you and us is to be established, developed or changed or if you make an inquiry to us, we collect and use personal data from you to the extent necessary for these purposes (preparation of an offer, provision of services, invoicing). We collect, process and use personal data to the extent necessary to enable you to use our services. All personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary for the stated purpose (processing of your inquiry or processing of a contract). Tax and commercial retention periods are taken into account here. In individual cases, we may provide information on this data (inventory data) at the request of the responsible authorities. The data is stored as follows:

  • E-mails: Email servers on 1and1 (password-protected), workstations (password-protected), and work phones (password-protected; apps accessing contact information, such as WhatsApp, are not installed).

1.4 Procedure regarding personal data in transferred data records:

The procedure with personal data in data records, which are transferred in the context of inquiries and/or order processing, and the associated processes, are regulated in an SOP (work instruction) in the quality manual of ACOMED statistik.

The general procedure here is that the transferred data records must not contain any personal data. Accordingly, we would like to point out that the data provided to us by customers within the scope of our services (statistical analyses) must be exclusively anonymous or pseudonymised, i.e. a reference to a specific person must not be permitted. This will also be contractually regulated from 25 May 2018. If we determine at handover that the data do not meet these requirements, the data will be deleted immediately and the client will be requested to send anonymous or pseudonymised data which do not allow any reference to a specific person for ACOMED.
